The National Committee for the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Leonardo Sciascia (1921-2021), under the presidency of the Italian Senator, H.E. Emma Bonino, promoted a tribute to the writer, in collaboration with the Institute of the Treccani Encyclopedia and the Association Amici di Leonardo Sciascia.
