From a child’s dreams in Africa to a young woman’s hopes amid the ruins of war, and the memories and determination of an elderly man in southern Italy, Fabio Ingrassia brings together three stories separated by place and age. Together, they remind us that dreams know no borders or age.
Contemporary Art Day returns on October 10, 2026. It is promoted by AMACI – the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, with the support of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity, within the Department for Cultural Activities of the Italian Ministry of Culture, and in collaboration with the Directorate General for Growth and Export Promotion of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. This year’s theme is Geographies of the Contemporary; the image selected for the edition comes from the series Working for a World Free of Poverty.
