On the 100th anniversary of the death of Giacomo Puccini The Festival welcomes the Orchestra of the Puccini Festival at Torre del Lago, with its conductor Jan Latham-Koenig. Having toured throughout Europe, Asia and the United States with particular highlights including a Puccini Marathon in Japan with stagings of Madama Butterfly in Tokyo, Kobe and Nagasaki, and of Turandot in Beijing, it has brought together artists from Italy, Japan and China. This gala concert celebrates the 100th anniversary of the death of Giacomo Puccini, and features soprano Valeria Sepe, and tenor Star Francesco Meli.
