The Italian Cultural Institute in Abu Dhabi is delighted to invite you to the opening of “Depero’s Graphics: Between Italy and New York”, an exhibition dedicated to Fortunato Depero, the pioneering Futurist artist who redefined the boundaries of visual expression.

Curated by Maurizio Scudiero and realized in collaboration with StArt di Davide Sandrini , the exhibition will officially open on June 3 at 18:30.
RSVP: https://depero.splashthat.com

Depero was not only a painter, but also a visionary graphic artist and designer who sought to bring art out of museums and into everyday life. As early as the 1920s, he declared “the street will be our gallery” and predicted that “the art of the future will be powerfully advertising.”

This curated selection features some of his most iconic graphic works from 1920 to 1930, created between Italy and New York, including bold advertising designs for the Campari brand and striking magazine covers produced during his time in the U.S.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until June 13, by appointment only, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
