I Cacciatori del Cielo (“The Sky Hunters”) is the compelling story of the birth of Italian aviation, told through the heroic actions of three men: Major Francesco Baracca (who would become the leading ace of Italian aviation); Captain Ruggero Piccio (who would later become the first Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force); and Bartolomeo Piovesan, from Treviso in Veneto; a simple mechanic in charge of maintenance on Baracca’s plane, from a humble social background.
A story of friendship and big dreams, in the tragic setting of the First World War.
