{"id":3452,"date":"2025-03-04T11:01:27","date_gmt":"2025-03-04T07:01:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iicabudhabi.esteri.it\/?p=3452"},"modified":"2025-03-04T11:13:43","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T07:13:43","slug":"2025-translation-awards-and-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iicabudhabi.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_istituto\/2025\/03\/2025-translation-awards-and-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Translation Awards and Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers grants and prizes for the promotion of Italian books through the translation of fiction and non-fiction works, as well as for the production, dubbing and subtitling of films, short films and TV-series, intended for mass media circulation, are intended to promote Italian language and culture abroad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GRANTS<\/strong> can be submitted for:<br \/>\n&#8211; Translation and publication of Italian fiction and non fiction works, including those available in digital format (e-books), to be published not before 1st August 2025;<br \/>\n&#8211; Production , dubbing or subtitling of films, short films and TV series intended for mass media circulation, to be released not before 1st August 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PRIZES<\/strong> can be submitted for:<br \/>\n&#8211; Italian fiction and non fiction books, also in digital version (e-book), already translated and published not before 1st January 2024;<br \/>\n&#8211; production, dubbing, subtitling of films, short films and TV series intended for mass media circulation, already released not before 1st January 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applications must be submitted no later than <strong>April 7th 2025 <\/strong>to the Italian Cultural Institute Abu Dhabi: <strong><a href=\"mailto:abudhabiiic.segre@esteri.it\">abudhabiiic.segre@esteri.it<\/a><\/p>\n<p>INADMISSIBILITY<br \/>\n<\/strong>Grants applications relating to a work already published, distributed, translated or dubbed on or before the date of the application, or the publication of which is foreseen before 1st August 202 5 (that is, before the completion of the awarding procedure), will not be taken into consideration.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All relevant documents can be downloaded below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iicabudhabi.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2025-ENG-Bando-Premi-e-Contributi.pdf\"><strong>Call for Applications 2025<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iicabudhabi.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/modulo_di-domanda.docx\"><strong>Application form for Awards and Subsidies 2025 (IT\/EN)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers grants and prizes for the promotion of Italian books through the translation of fiction and non-fiction works, as well as for the production, dubbing and subtitling of films, short films and TV-series, intended for mass media circulation, are intended to promote Italian language and culture abroad.
